This auction is for a binocular laboratory microscope made by Ceti of Belgium. It is from a research laboratory and is about ten years old but in excellent condition. The eyepiece lenses are wide-field 10X/18mm and the head can be rotated through 360 degrees. The set of four objective lenses are semi-planachromatic 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X oil immersion. There is a spare place on the nosepiece to install an additional objective. The microscope has an Abbe brightfield condenser with the lamp brightness controlled by a slider on the base and an iris in the precondenser. Overall, this microscope is very easy to use. This could open up a whole new world that you never knew existed. You will be amazed at all the different living things such as bacteria and protists that you can find in a single drop of pond water!The microscope comes with one box of glass slides, one box of cover slips, a packet of lens tissue and two spare bulbs Collection preferred but it could be packed and sent by courier for £15.00.
