DESCRIPTION

The HI98308 features a graphite amperometric electrode that provides better repeatability in measurements as it does not oxidize. An amperometric measurement of EC is based on Ohm’s law, I = V/R, where R depends on the distance between two pins and their surface. Oxidation changes both distance and surface area, affecting accuracy. Graphite pins provide an optimal surface area for precise and reliable results. To carry out the calibration, immerse the electrode in the calibration solution and adjust it with the trimmer on the back of the instrument.

The HI98308 allows the user to monitor the purity of distilled or demineralized water in laboratory or industrial settings. It is also ideal for circuit board washing water, laundries, steam cleaning and all areas where distilled, demineralised or pure water is used. This tool is rugged, protected against harsh industrial conditions.
