Magnifier Glass

The Vario-Maxi Stand Magnifier was developed to easily magnify a larger working area. It is possible to view the detail of an entire printed page for the first time using this worldwide innovation. For laboratory use it is ideal for viewing an entire mouse.

The reading glass head is attached to the tabletop by means of a stable jointed support with integrated cable. The adjustable quality of the support and the magnifier head allow for variable positioning. Optimum illumination of the viewing area is made possible by the lamp, which is attached tilted downwards. The stand magnifier can be used with spectacles for near and distance.

The SuperVu System is a superb optical quality magnification system with laser designed optics and precise pupil alignment. These lenses are constructed of the highest quality lightweight optical glass and feature an ultra-lightweight metal alloy shell to offer clarity, comfort, and fit.

This Stand Magnifier offers the user a high degree of flexibility when selecting working distance through its optics calculated to infinity. The lens has an integrated cover to protect against dust.

This magnifier is supplied complete with additional rotatable lens, table clamp and lens protector. A heavy cast iron stand weighing 6 kg (13.2 lbs) available as an accessory provides a solid base on which to mount the magnifier. The lens protector protects the bottom of the lens when working with rough procedures such as bone drilling.

Designed for visual accuracy and precise viewing. The 3- or 5-diopter, 12.7cm (5″) diameter biconvex ground glass lens is mounted in a die-cast, aluminum-alloy shade attached to a spring-balanced arm. The lightest touch glides the light to any needed position, without any tightening devices. An electronic ballast and RFI filter makes magnifiers energy-efficient, providing 15% more light output. Magnifiers come with one 22W circline fluorescent bulb. Equipped with an “instant on” switch; no “hold down” required to turn light on.

Magnifiers with clamp have an arm reach of 114.3cm (45″), while the magnifiers with base have a 76.2cm (30″) arm reach. Color: light gray.
