• OTABE Co., Ltd., Kyoto based Japanese confectionery company, famous for cinnamonflavored Japanese cakes called “Yatsuhashi” whose sales volume is JY4,100M, hasrecently purchased 7 MXs to replace its SD-30. SD-30, employing infrared heating method, is a moisture analyzer from Sanko Electronic Laboratory Co., Ltd. and OTABE Co., Ltd. were using it to measure moisture content of fresh made cookies off their production line.
• OTABE Co. Ltd, had, more or less, concluded that they could not measure correct moisture contents with any type of moisture analyzers available in the market. In fact, the moisture analyzers they were using could not give them correct and stable data.
