The Harvard Apparatus Compact Stereotaxic Instrument for Rat is sold with the base plate, 3-axis manipulator arm, species adapter, ear bars and holder with corner clips all suited for applications involving rats.
The Harvard Apparatus Compact Stereotaxic Instrument offers everything you have come to expect in a high quality stereotaxic instrument. The dual-lead screw design ensures stable, accurate and smooth manipulations while the laser engraved scales offer ease of reading. The instrument offers 180˚ vertical rotation and 360˚ horizontal rotation, with the ability to lock at any angle.

This latest innovation in Standard™ Stereotaxic Instru-ments features a sealed electronic sensor to each axis of the manipulator arm. This sensor is highly immune to outside interference and environmental conditions. Measurements are accurate to 10 microns in all three directions. Movements in all three directions are now monitored by a large, easy-to-read LED display module, with a resolution selectable from 1 mm to 10 microns.
