The well-engineered TECNIPLAST Metabolic & Diuresis Cages supply uncontaminated samples of effectively separate urine and feces of the rodent.

We have updated the classic metabolism cages with electronics to monitor the receptacles for food & water. Each may be removed without disturbing the animal. Optional infrared beam arrays (similar to those of the Activity Cages on p. 10) can be mounted on either side of the cage to monitor coordinate activity and rearing behavior. Each cage is comprised of interchangeable parts which can be cleaned in a standard vivarium wash station.
